"The park is open again."
Following the events of the first film, “Jurassic Park”, scientists have found a way to breed their own species of dinosaurs. Like its predecessor, humans show off the existence of dinosaurs for their own financial gain. With everything going smoothly, something bad was bound to happen again. Let’s find out what happens, when the parks gates are opened up again, in “Jurassic World.”
The story it self follows a few characters. First we have two brothers going on vacation to hang out with their aunt, who oversees operations within the park. That aunt, Bryce Dallas Howard, is on the brink of opening the park’s newest attraction, a big super dino called the Indominous Rex. After a failed maintenance check, the Indominous Rex is loose within the park and that’s where dinosaur handler, Chris Pratt, has to work to tame it.
For me, I enjoyed the movie. A lot of action was to be had. I didn’t mind that all of the dinosaurs were computer generated, because it didn’t distract like cgi from other movies, and we know what that’s like. The roles of the two brothers had me uneasy though, because I simply found them annoying. Most of the time I was like, “this is probably happening because of you guys!” This is a different Chris Pratt, and that’s a good thing. The loveable goofball we know from Parks n Rec and Guardians of the Galaxy, sure can be an action star.
I would definitely recommend watching this. I would probably wait for a discount Tuesday viewing though, but watch it somehow.
