Hank Johnson: Agent of Hydra (2015) #1 Review

A peek into the everyday life of a Hydra Agent

You know those henchmen of every evil organization on TV shows, comics, and movies? You may not think it, but they have their own lives too. Hank Johnson is a family man who’s just trying to support his family working for Hydra. Whether it’s dealing with Shield, The Avengers, trick-or-treating, your boss coming onto you, Hank has his hands full.

This is a great one-shot. It gives readers a fun insight to the daily lives of the bad guys. Seeing how Hydra is aside from ruining the heroes days in everyday life situations is a delight. I thought it was funny when the parents from Hydra and Shield have kids on opposing baseball teams. Also when they go trick-or-treating in costumes of characters from their world. I only hoped this was an ongoing series, although I think it’d be hard to come up with fresh material.

Anyone can read this one. You probably don’t even need to have a big background on Marvel Comics to enjoy it. It’s pretty self contained, especially because it’s a one-shot. Go out and buy it, or check it out digitally.
