Rob’s Pick of the Week

Seventeen - Super

At first, I wasn’t very into this hyperactive kind of sound in the verses, probably because I’m not used to them on these kinds of songs. But I saw the video as a whole, it all clicked. It’s got this sort of eastern kind of theme to it, where they’re kind of super heroes. The video is pretty much a well produced performance video. This is another one that I’m not envious of them having in the quiver for concerts, because the whole routine looks exhausting. Intricate hip-hop choreo, well worthy of a street dance competition. Props to anyone who joins the dance challenge for this song.

Rob’s Second Pick of the Week

Taeyang - Shoong! (ft Lisa)

I really like the vibe of this one. It’s that baby-making kind of sound, but more of a dance/r&b genre. I don’t really like the straight up sensual kind, but this makes you wanna dance to it more. Speaking of dance, the choreo is pretty cool too. Something about acting like you’re in a car is pretty cool. And is that HYEMILEEYECHAEPA’s Leejung I see? After you watch this, go watch her on that show where they constantly lose at variety games.
